Special Task Force
The Special Task Force is a club for young people who like to have fun and enjoy all sorts of activities. Lots of the members have disabilities of one sort or another. The Special Task Force invited Gail to show them some of her photographs a couple of years ago, and then decided they would like to take their own photographs, so asked Gail back to help them. On the afternoon of the first outdoor workshop it was raining, but that didn't stop everyone going out with their cameras. Whilst a couple of members had used a camera before, for most it was their first time. With suggestions and help, plus lots of ideas of their own, the Special Task Force worked really hard. They captured many different subjects, including each other (and their feet!) and had lots of fun at the same time. Later in the afternoon, after tea and cake, everyone enjoyed seeing the photographs they had taken. Then at another photography session, there was lots of creativity making photo collages and photo panels with their photographs. T'he 2013 Special Task Force Photo Project is to help everyone make their very own photo book.
